I need to know, how can i print on both side of a page on illustrator. Someone wants to create a brochure. I notice illustrator does not show 2 pages on one view.

Illustrator can only work on single page documents. Normally, you would need a page layout application, like QuarkXPress or InDesign to do multi page layouts. If you must use Illustrator for this, you'll have to create a new document for each side and print them seperately.

You could do some manual page make-up on a single document, but this really only applies to commercial printing, and even then it's not really practical in Illustrator.

One of the graphic designers at my work insists on using Illustrator for all his layout. Every page is a separate document, but somehow he still manages to set up print jobs so that he can print two pages back to back in one run on our printer. So it IS possible.

Since I am not so silly as to to try and use AI for layout - not only can you not have more than one page per document, but cannot apply styles to text (not in my version) and you cannot have text flowing between pages.

I think the secret is to have both sides of the page (i.e. two documents) open and use the 'Tile' feature. Of course, your printer must be able to duplex, otherwise you will have to manually undertake the back to back printing.
