Basically I want to know how to open a word document via a command button on a switchboard in Microsoft Access and get the document to print automatically (using a word macro) and then word to close.

Can anyone help

the easiest way to do this is to create a hyperlink, which is linked to whichever document you want to open, it will then open word automatically.
