You will need attach the RAD to a station port.
Depending on the type RAD you have, the programming steps differ.
Older RADS program as:
Feature 9**
PSWD: RADMIN or 723646
Newer RADS program as:
Feature 9**
You will then, set up the System ID, The Rad pswd and the Baud rate.

You could check into buying the keycode to enable the built in Internal Remote Access Device (IRAD). The CICS has it but the MICS doesn't. Benefit is that you do not waste a station port and no hardware to buy, but you will need to purchase the keycode. Has all the functionality of the RAD.
