at our client they have a Kodak scanner(which is ISIS compliant).A mail room clark scans loads of paper into this kodak and sees the load into a desktop.Then she brings up Enterprise scan and scans them into this application,corrects any indexing data and send s them to a document pipeline.The document pipeline can then send it to Livelink,SAP Oracle or any place that you know to program it for.the EScan client has all the features you are looking for like deskew etc.If you haveadlib or the ot plugin for OCR you can convert tiff to PDF and that too with OCR.
