I am in the process of trying to connect a new voice mail system on my 9600m and need to know the following info:

1. What is the pin out on the cable (P3510) that comes from the PSIOF card?
2. What are the perimiters of the SMDI port? (1200, 7, 1, Even)?
 
You can find the pinout for the 3510 cable in chapter 2 of the circuit guide book. Look for the part number E660-2506-T846. The baud rate is chosen by you when you assign the dcc port. The other parameters are default as even 7 1. theese cannot be changed. Just curious, what kind of voicemail system are you installing. I have installed several different vm systems on the 9600. If I can be of any help just post another message. Or add to this string.
 
Thank you for your assistance and we have already found the cable pin out in the circuit guide book but do not know what pins need to be connected? We are assuming that 2,3 & 7, which would connect to 17, 18 & 13 of the PSIOFC-B card/cable. Yes,if you can help us I would really appreciate anything you could do for us.

We are trying to interface with an Innovations Elite. Have you ever does this? any help or documents you may have would be greatly appreciated.

We have the port type selected for the each voicemail ports. also we have the SMDI port setup with the 1200 E-7-1.


We are getting some communications but it is not being recognized by the voicemail and files as an non integrated call.

We have integrated our Fujitsu 9660m with our Innovations voice mail system, but have one probelm that we can not solve, when you dial a voice mail box and leave a message we are getting about 16-seconds of dial tone left at the end of the message?
 
You need to change SVP TYPE,2 ID,64 to 01. The Innovation is looking for silence at the end of the call. Your SVP,2,64 is most likely set to 02. Check the CHA SVP command in the commands manual. When you make the change it will be: CHA SVP,2,64,01.
 
We have tried all of the SVP settings (oo, 01, 02) but will still have the dial tone at the end of the voice mail message. Any other ideas, we have done a phase 1 and phase 2, changed out the hardware, etc... you name it we tried it?
 
Make sure the class of service feature 386 is not in the COS for the VM ports. This will also send dial tone at the end of a call.

First & foremost, thank you for your help regaring the 386 cos feature code issue. Our customers are complaining that there are experiencing cutoffs when they are listening to their voice mail messages on the Innovations voicemail system.

They can go back in and retrieve the full message but only after they have been cutoff.

Our vendor states that it is in the Fujitsu PBX system.

IN THE INNOVATIONS VMS, WHAT TYPE IF DISCONNECT SIGNAL IS BEING USED (ASSIGNED).
Try this test, call voicemail then blow into the handset for several seconds, if voicemail disconnects it is likely setup for dial tone disconnect, many systems use the dialogic voice cards (Now Eicon). If the card was not trained to the PBX dial tone, it will interpret any constant sound presence to be dial tone and drop the call.

Voicemail drop off is one of two things, "talk off" which a voice frequency mimics DTMF and background noise.

Unfortunately Tiger does not reveal much about their product on their web site (All marketing...)

The F9600 uses standard SMDI protocol
(Same as the ATT standard)

Thank you for the assistance but we are experiencing the same issues, which we think it is because we are trying to operate two tenants (CCM & Fujitsu PBX)using the Innovations voice mail system.

Do you have an application where you are using two tenants with different PBX's?

Our customers are complaining that when they are checking their voice mail box for messages, they are receiving dial tone for a message. They are also complaining that receiving blank messages.

Sure, I maintain many VM systems with integrations to two, three and four differnt pbx systems.
IE Fujitsu, CCM and Centrex.
While I do not have any experience with the Innovations 2020, the cutoff and dialtone trim from messages has something to the with the VM applications and not the PBXs.

Thank you for your help with the voice mail system, which I think the vendor has rsolved most of our issues.

I have another situation that I am hoping you can help me with, we have seven fujitsu pbx systems, currently three of them are experiencing troubles with their dial up modems. We replaced the modems but can not connect to these sites remotely, do you have any suggestions?

 
You must lock the modem to the same speed as the pbx port.
Modern modems will always negotiate the fastest speed, 33.6k
Using the AT commands lock the modem to 9600 bps (if pbx is 9600bps).
The AT command depends on the modem.
US Robotics (perferred) AT&N6&U6s0=1y0x4&w0&w1
For Hayes compatible ATs37=9. This can also be applied at the pc making the call.

either as part of the dial string, or under control panel, phone and modem, modems, the actual modem, adavanced properties,extra init command.
