I am trying to write the below line to a string without causing line breaks in CSV. Can any one help. I've tried enclosing with quotations as recommended but no luck.

=BDP("FMDG EQUITY","CUST_TRR_RETURN_HOLDING_PER","CUST_TRR_START_DT=20170901","CUST_TRR_END_DT=20170930")

You don't show any code I will just take a guess:
[tt]"=BDP(""FMDG EQUITY"",""CUST_TRR_RETURN_HOLDING_PER"",""CUST_TRR_START_DT=20170901"",""CUST_TRR_END_DT=20170930"")"[/tt]

Also, if this is VBA, that forum is here: forum707

Thanks, its vbscript. I got it to work.

I used:

"""=BDP(""""FMDG EQUITY"""",""""CUST_TRR_RETURN_HOLDING_PER"""",""""CUST_TRR_START_DT=20170901"""",""""CUST_TRR_END_DT=20170930"""")
