help with win xp now winNt

I had our systems serviced at our computer company with warranty etc...I have a profile 3 and a desktop 700s series Both had windows xp home edition. It came back installed with core engine drive win32 ui. Now we cant seem to get bour home edition anymore, even after zeroing the hd and reformatting etc..everything loads from the same sys 32 and i constantly get messages saying " not a valid win32 application. My comp store says winNT and Win xp are one and the same but this is NOT. Any cliue. I cannot install anything but the MBR from the time the machines were serviced.

have you check to see if the core engine drive win32 ui is xp competiable ?
