Hi.

Problem as follows:

I'm new to VPN - trying to establish a VPN connection to a Cisco PIX Firewall. I can create a tunnel from inside zone to the firewall, but not one to the outside. I've got all the interfaces set up but outside WILL NOT work.

The tunnel is being created OK but as soon as it's built the line goes dead. The server times out and client (Win 2K) says that it can't access due to some authentication problem.

I think its cos our router's blocking somethin I need for pptp, and ideas what I have to enable? Do I need port 1723 open on the router for both the client and the firewall?

I'm a complete newbie so help appreciated...
