Hello.

I am a complete newbie to access and VBA, and would like some detailed help....

I am trying to make a VBA script, that takes data from a table or a query, and opens a file search in explorer, and searches a specified catalog with the entry from the table.

Is this possible?

Thank you

Check Acces Help for the FileSearch Object. (In 2000, it takes you to the FileSearch property--just click on the FileSearch Object hyperlink).

You will see some example code that should help you through it.
