I urgently require help with CDONTS.
I have written a VB Program and using CDO Connecting to Exchange I can send recieve and monitor mail from a web page via ActiveX Dlls but I am unable to add an Appointment Item to the client outlook. I have checked and re checked the code and it is correct. So is it an Exchange issue.
The CDO object cannot find the 'CDODefaultFolderCalendar' Folder and thus cannot instantiate the object causing a fail status to be returned.
Do I administer Exchange to make this folder visible and accessible to my code?

In order to be using CODNT you need to be running Windows NT, there is regular CDO but it will use your current copy of exhange to initiate a MAPI session(I think) if this is for email, it will not automactially send the message, instead it will just place it in an outbox, with CDONT on a NT machine running IIS4 you can send email directly not even needing a MAPI session.
Karl
kb244@kb244.8m.com
<a href=
Experienced in , or have messed with : VC++, Borland C++ Builder, VJ++6(starting),VB-Dos, VB1 thru VB6, Delphi 3 pro, Borland C++ 3(DOS), Borland C++ 4.5, HTML, ASP(somewhat), QBasic(least i didnt start with COBOL)

i know how to add a reference to the CDO.dll object library in a vb project, but how do you reference CDONTS??
