Help with text not printing

Good day,

I have some text that I used transparency on. The text is showing up on the screen but completely vanishes when I print. I thought I saw somewhere that it has to do with the text being "flattened". Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Couple of things to try

First select teh box with the text go the Window menu/Attributes and make sure it's not designated as non printing

In the Print window click on advanced and under transparency flattener select high quality

I just tried jmgalvins suggestions but it still didn't print. I also just tried to 'arrange' the text to make sure it is in 'front' and that didnt work as well. Any other ideas?

Is your printer Postscript Level 3?

I'm not sure if it's a postscript level 3. I have a HP psc 1210 all in one. The owners manual is long gone and I just tried to google it with out any luck. How can I find out if my printer is a postscript level 3?

It's most likely that your pronter is NOt postcript being an all in one.

Try exp[orting a pdf and see if it prints. You just have to export the bad page not the whole document.

You cna also open the transparency window and see what it says about the text box with the problem. Try Normal for the mode and uncheck any boxes that might be checked and see if that helps.

Ok, I think I got it. See, the background that the text was on is a darker color. I used "lighten" on text in question. It was showing up on the screen but not printing. So I switched to 'normal' and that worked.
