Help with Symantec Antivirus Install on XP Pro 1

I have a bunch of HP nx9010 laptops running XP Pro that are in an NT domain. Following the XP Security Guide, I ran the standalone script and then configured some settings in the Administrative Templates for the LGPO.

Two problems ...
AutoPlay does not start the CD. I've checked the registry, drive properties and policy and nothing is set to disable this.

Also, for some reason I can not install Symantec Antivirus 8.0. The install shield starts and then the Windows installer starts but immediately shuts down. There is an entry in one of the event logs that says it ran fine. I do not think it is related to applying the policy but I'm at a loss. Any ideas? Thanks
