Help with styles and select boxes

I'm trying to give my form a not so generic look. I would like the change the border around the select box, but it seems the only thinks I can change are the background, font, and font color of the select box. Is there anyway to change more of the look with a select box?

What you listed is what you can change, the select box is limited in appearence.
