Hey all,

I work in an educational setting and am having to setup redundant failover links between our main office and a high school about 2 miles down. Currently we have gig point to point fiber links to each location that go to our main IT building where our 6513 is housed. Please bear with me as here are the setups for each site:

High School:
MDF: L3 3750 Gig Point to Point fiber link to 6513 using EIGRP
IDF: 3750 with Fiber Link to gateway 3750 in MDF, the Wireless Bridge will be housed in this IDF

Main Office:
MDF: L3 3750 Gig Point to Point fiber link to 6513 using EIGRP
IDF: 3750 with ether-channeled Fiber Links to gateway 3750 in MDF, the Wireless Bridge will be housed in this IDF

IT building: 6513 that receives all dedicated point to point fiber links using EIGRP

I am new to this setup and need some assistance setting this up. What we want to accomplish is to have the wireless bridges take over as the main link for each location if the fiber link goes down to the 6513. This will include multiples vlans that carry data and phone. Any help in this setup will be greatly appreciated, I have a couple ideas of how to set it up but not sure how to set up the link in the idf as the redundant link.

-thanks

Take a look at this for doing multiple vlans across the wireless:

You would setup your ports on both 3750s as trunk ports and then use the 3750s as your EIGRP neighbors. Any VLANs you want running across this link will of course need to be configured on these switches if you're not using VTP. EIGRP will see this as a feasible successor for all of the networks that you are advertising on that link. You can lower the bandwidth on these links or increase delay to make EIGRP use this as a secondary link.

I would also suggest failover testing just to make sure it does work of course :)
