Here is what I need to do. I need to know how to set up an ACD group with only one set in it. This individual wants to have calls coming to his set stack up and wait and as he completes one the next in line rings his phone. There will only be this one person in this ACD "group". Here is what I suspect I must do. Please help me fill in the blanks or correct me if I'm wrong.

1. Create ACDN in Ld 23 with it NCFW to voice mail
2. Program set so that key 0 is ACD along with agent ID number.
3. Program NRD and MSB keys as well.
4. Create Menu in voice mail to give recording when callers call in to thank them for holding and to ask them to remain on the line til the first available agent answers.

I have tried all of the above and I can stack up calls fine and I get the menu, but the problem is that each caller gets the recording and then after 10 seconds of waiting the voice mail attendant says "for assistance press star", then she says "goodbye" and hangs up the call. I need the caller to be able to sit there til they are ready to hang up and not be hung up on by voice mail.

Help please. And thanks.

You cannot use Meridian Mail for announcement without Symposium.

If you want an announcement on a standard ACD Q you need a Cook Announcer or a Miran Card.

An Interalia unit works for your RAN also.

I have several Queues that I have built in my Option 61 using CCR, MAX and Meridian mail. All my anouncements I have are using my Meridian mail. Some of my queue are controlled through CCR but most of them point to my meridan mail.

Here is a breif way that I program them.
CDN 1234 points to VM xxxx by ncfw.
Vm DN table 1234 is created and pointed to a MS table.
MS table gives the options to go to a queue.
Caller presses were they want to go or a no response is sensored the call is pushed to a default queue.
The queue has no NCFW programmed. I have first message at 60 second and second message at 120 seconds. The callers can sit in queue for ever if they want and never get pushed to a vm.

I do agree with One234 that Symposium is better but it is not nessasary.
