I'm sure this has probably already been answered here but I don't have a clue about how to search for the answer, so please bear with me.

I'm creating a form in Access 2007 and when I add an input field from a table (to the form), the label portion of the field is linked to the input box. How do I separate these so I can resize and move them independently?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks AceMan1 - but you've got to be kidding. Seems I read somewhere that there was a way to make this "dis-association" a default behavior. But then again, it's been a few years since I dabbled in Access so it may have been something available in a version earlier that 2007.

If you come across anything like this I'd be really happy to know about it.

Thnaks Again,

dhookom...

Yes, that's "almost" it. In my installation (2007), the Remove option is grayed out. In order to make this work, I have to select "Stacked" or "Tabbed", then select Remove. This is really a silly way to run a railroad. Either MS doesn't intend to make Access a "serious" database application or their developers don't have a handle on what users want.

I better get off my soap box now......

Thanks
