Hi, I am looking for some help with dynix running on sequent.
I got a sequent machine that runs with dynix 4.1.
This machine was in some storage that my company has (more than 3 years , even more).
I connected the sequent terminal to serial port 1 (in the back) to the aux on the monitor.
Seems that if I put the monitor on f2 (communication) and make half duplex - it does half work. I can see the display messages, however when I try to interrupt the boot processes whatever I press on the keyboard nothing happens.
If I let boot completely, the machines stops on a message like:
A fake init was detected returning to single user mode; however I never get any prompt.
I have the o.s. cd (inside a tray), but still not good.
If you have any way to help, I greatly apprecite.
