Help with resources

I have created a large project schedule and populated my Resources in a resource pool. The pool links with the master schedule however when I go to assign tasks I can not see any names in the drop down menu, Actually I can see the names in the very first task but thats it. Any help would be appreciated.

Assuming you have linked the sub-projects to the master project (and not copied the tasks in):

Open Resource Pool
For each Sub-Project
open the project
click on Tools | Resource Sharing... | Share resources.
click on "Use Resources" radio button
select the project schedule which is the resource pool
save the sub-project
close the sub-project

Open the Master project
You should see the resource pool resources for all tasks.
