Help with recordest Function

Hi. I'd like help with recordset.

I have a form that i use to capture data. When i click a button I would like to have a message box to be displayed, showing the last record i entered in a particullar field.

Why not use a Domain Function.
Msgbox DLast("FieldName", "TableName", "Criteria = '" & Me.SomeField & "'")

The domain function will work fine without the need to open a recordset.
