Sometimes if a user does not disconnect properly from a Terminal Session, their printer stays connected to the Terminal Server and the next user that connects may get that same session number and now have that last user's printer available. This has happened on a few occations and I need to find a way to stop it form happening. One user's print job can be sent to a printer accross the country. Is there a GPO or something that can prevent this from happening? Also, sometimes I remote control a user and see every printer mapped on the terminal server.

There are no printers installed locally on the Server, just drivers.
Thanks

You can set a time limit on idle sessions. An idle session is a session whereby no mouse or keyboard input has taken place on the user side. You can limit this by using either Windows Group Policy or edit the "Terminal Services Configuration" directly. Here's how to:

Yeah, I already have an idle set for 2 hours, and reset the session after 2 minutes of "disconnect" (improper disconnect that is) Our customer base is mainly call centers so, I can not keep disconnecting them while they are waiting to take a call.
