Hey guys, I really hope you can help me.
I am using Crystal 8.5 and I am linking the report to a crosstab query I created in Access 97. I had to develop the crosstab in Access because of the grouping and the subtotals that were needed on the report. Anyway, I need a way to put in a date parameter to return data between 2 dates. The problem is is that the place to actually restrict the date is a sub query that feeds into another query. The last query is where the crosstab is developed from. So basically it is like 3 steps back. I tried to add the query that contains the date field to the report that contains the crosstab query but there is not a field to link the queries with and it does not work, it returns no data. Is there a way to do this??

I hope I have not confused anyone. I look forward to your replies and thank you for your help.

I haven't tried this, but I would think that if you simply add the cross-tab query to the report, it would run the other queries that it is based on, and the parameter would pop up in turn.

What happens if you do that?
