Hey Everyone,

I am trying to send option #1 on a client's main CCR tree to a pager, and it works; it calls the pager and leaves no message...So I decided to try to add 2 pauses to the number string, and that works, but after I insert the 2 pauses, how to I get back to numerical format on the keypad to add the numbers to send without exiting and startig all over again???

Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Trevor Farren

when you are adding digits on a dial string the # selects to go to special characters. from there the following are in effect:
2 to go back to digits
3 to enter a pause (4 sec)
4 wait for dial tone
5 to enter a # digit
6 to enter a * digit
* to cancel the entry JerryReeve

forgot to mention:
the best way i have found to verify the pauses and dialouts on message notification is to clip a butt set on the outgoing trunk that msg notification will use (useually the last trunk in the pool) and listen to the digits dialing and the response of the location you are dialing. JerryReeve
