hi,
I have a problem with numlog.
internally when ringing an extension it works.

but if the number is an external number it does not work.

here is the scenario
--------------------

BC12 site,
number ringing from (mobile) 07956xxxxxx
number rung ddi 0207xxxxxx

the ddi number shows the full std number ie 07956xxxxx
when press numlog, shows, 07956xxxxxxx
when press call, dials 0 (operator)

no entries in nutri,
but have tried

entry=7, cnvtyp=2, numtyp=2 pre=9
also
07, 2, 2, 90

have also restarted KLP1L (prog unit which looks after numlog converstion)

How do I get it to dial the external number, presumably by getting the MD to see a "9" in front of the digits

cheers

LB

for calls with national TON
nutri:entry=07,cnvtyp=1,numtyp=2,pre=9;
for calls with unkwnown TON
nutri:entry=07,cnvtyp=1,numtyp=0,pre=9;

oops small error :

for calls with national TON
nutri:entry=07,cnvtyp=2,numtyp=2,pre=9;
for calls with unkwnown TON
nutri:entry=07,cnvtyp=2,numtyp=0,pre=9;

hi daddy,
we done that, what we did (commands were)

NUTRI:ENTRY=7,CNVTYP=2,NUMTYP=2,PRE=9;
NUTRI:ENTRY=7,CNVTYP=2,NUMTYP=2,PRE=90;
NUTRI:ENTRY=07,CNVTYP=2,NUMTYP=2,PRE=9;
NUTRI:ENTRY=7,CNVTYP=2,NUMTYP=2,PRE=90;

results were the same, ie I/C number shows as 09756xxxxxx
NUMLOG showed 09756xxxxx
when press CALL phone shows 0 (then dialled op)

cheers

Add TRC in NUTRI for cut 0
for example:
NUTRI:ENTRY=07,CNVTYP=2,NUMTYP=2,PRE=9,TRC=1;
NUTRI:ENTRY=07,CNVTYP=2,NUMTYP=0,PRE=9,TRC=1;

lancbomb,

what number should be sent to the network?

909756xxxx or 99756xxxx ?

do you know with what type of number these calls have. make an ISDN trace and you will know...

RFPUI,

thanks that "almost" did the trick,

what worked was

NUTRI:ENTRY=09,CNVTYP=2,NUMTYP=0,PRE=90,TRC=1
NUTRI:ENTRY=09,CNVTYP=2,NUMTYP=2,PRE=90,TRC=1

Hej LB
Working set up
cnvtyp=2
numtyp=2
and we
pre 9 1
for all incoming 2 through 9.
Numlog shows 9 1 then the incoming number.
When pressed it redials the number whether it be local or ld.

lancomb,

could you just confirm that what worked was :

NUTRI:ENTRY=09,CNVTYP=2,NUMTYP=0,PRE=90,TRC=1
NUTRI:ENTRY=09,CNVTYP=2,NUMTYP=2,PRE=90,TRC=1

and not :

NUTRI:ENTRY=07,CNVTYP=2,NUMTYP=0,PRE=90,TRC=1
NUTRI:ENTRY=07,CNVTYP=2,NUMTYP=2,PRE=90,TRC=1

I'm a bit confused and just wondering why it's ENTRY=09 and not ENTRY=07

Thanks.

hi,
sorry, your right, typing too fast, the mob number was
907980xxxxxx

so what worked was entry=07 ! I put in new entries from 01 to 09

cheers
