Hi all,
I am having some difficulty getting ghost to work properly.
I have Ghost Corporate edition 7.
Here is what I've done:
On the server, I've installed ghost server (duh).
On the other machines, I've installed the client.
When I want to backup a machine, on the server, I've gone to ghost console>add the user>backup regime>create a new backup regime>run now.
The client machine reboots, and I get the message that backup is in progress.
On the server machine, the multicast server comes up, and waits for client connections (which never happens).
Eventually, the client machine will time out.
What am I doing wrong? Does it have anything to do w/ a ghost boot partition? I don't have one on the client. Should I? How do I go about doing so?I can't find anything anywhere that talks about this (in the manual).
Thanks for your help!
