I have a call pilot 50 0n a MICS 7.0, we had an outage and lost all programming to the call pilot now the night service is not working the way it was set up before. at the end of the day someone would manualy press the night button and the calls would automatically get redirected to and outside answering service...thats all the info I got,if someone could point me in the right direction, any help is appreciated.

Sounds like your VM DN has changed. Do a Feature 985 and then compare it to the dn you have in the ringing group for your service.

They were using an answering service? If ptstech's suggestion doesn't pan out, check the programming on the button. I usually set customers up with an autodial button programmed to use line 1, with the co's fwd code and the ans service's number.

Have you tried to delete the night service button and re-install? This has worked for me.

nope nothing has helped yet, I've deleted the button an dlooked at all programming and nothing, the line is a target dn, ringing on line 260, it doen't appear on any phone it,s answered by cal pilot, and routed to the appropiate place via CCR. I've set up ringing services, night is manual, control set is the front desk, line 260 in ringing group 2 and when I prees the night button nothing,I know I'm missing a step somewhere, I just cant pin point it. in the meantime I programmed line 260 on front desk set and left instructions how to redirect the set to the ansering service #. but any more info is appreciated.

Ok, here's one senario- Line 260 rings at ext x. I program a night mode ring group to ring ext y- a 7100 I've installed in the phone room. Control set for line 260=ext x, and I manually forward ext y to the ans service number.

Could this be how it was set up?
