Help with new HD

Sony VAIO FX215

Okay, I just installed a brand new HD.
Now, the next thing is to install an OS since my old HD is broke and has nothing on it.
I updated my BIOS to the newest one that was on the page.

I try to install XP and I get this error, about partmgr.sys.
What can I do!?

The HD didn't come with a CD and it's a Fujitsu Universal 60gb.

It comes after I put in the XP CD and it does the intro with the setup. It never gets to the screen where I have a chance to Install XP or something.

I'll explain what it says later, I have to go.
