help with my small community network 1

hello
i am new to ip office . i am just learning this is not a working enviroment just a lab .

I must be missing something because my 2 ip offices 403running 3.2 can not seem to talk . i have a vpn running from my routes and can ping both gateways on the routers but not the ip offices.
system A is router 192.168.1.1 and ip office 192.168.1.50 and system B is router 192.168.2.1 and ip office 192.168.2.50
i can ping all my computers on both networks and i can ping ipoffice from it's own network but not across vpn to ping the other ipoffice.

i went in and set an ip line on A to 200 and B to 249 and put the voip gateway to the router gateway on the other system .
i followed the refrence "ip office -job aid small community network"

Is there a firewall setting or something that i am missing ?????

Also should i just use the tunnle on the ip office to set up vpn in sted of my routers please help

all so if i open monitor and click small community under status it see the other system and the ripsend count keeps going up but nothing else has a vaule

 
When u create the Ip trunk between then you need to have the IP office as the gate ways 192.168.1.50 and 192.168.2.50

and u should have default ip routes set in the IP office.

 
i am not sure how to set defult ip routes can you give an exampal

and just to make sure i under stand in the ip line i want to set that gateway to the ip office not router correct

192.168.1.0
Lan 1

and would do same on other ipo.

 
still cant not get it to work

OK see if this helps
Under system A you want to have the Ip line gateway IP address to be 192.168.2.50 compression mode can be default auto select but must be same on sysetm B,
check allow direct media path and voice networking

System B gateway should be 192.168.1.50 compression is Auto select allow direct media path and voice networking.

The ip route for system A should be
0.0.0.0 Ip address
0.0.0.0 IP mask
192.168.1.0 Gateway IP address
Lan1 destination


System b

0.0.0.0 Ip address
0.0.0.0 IP mask
192.168.2.0 gateway IP address
Lan 1

You may need to do reboot on both system to make it work
Lan 1

i have dumped all that i have done and started over useing your setting .

i have rebooted both to test i should be able to just dail ext. on other network correct .
