I'm fairly new to Flash and am havig trouble getting two movie clips to play sequesntially (one after the other). I've tried stop() and gotandplay() actions but am not having any luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. There's always a better way...

If you're trying to control one movie clip to play when another one has played, then put a stop(); action on the first frame (blank keyframe if you want the second movie clip to be unvisible until played) of the second movie clip. Make sure your movie clips have instance names and not just Library names. Then on the last frame of your first movie clip add this line:

_root.instance_nameMC2.gotoAndPlay(2); Regards,

Don't worry, if my reply is wrong, BillWatson will clean it up for me!
