Hi. Who I can configure a modem?
I try but the modem don't send me a signal..
what can I do??
thank you..

Admintool
1. run the admintool
. select browse and serial port
. select port a or b
. select edit and modify
. select the expert mode
. set the baud rate
. set for bi-dir

Connect the modem on port a or b on the sun box.
In /etc/remote there is a line for hardwire. The default is port b . You can edit that port to match where the modem
is attached.
You can do this command : tip hardwire
You should get a connect message.
If you get a connect msg type (at) and the modem should respond.
TO EXit from tip do a : shift ~ . (or do a man on tip)
