I'm accessing two tables in AS-400, I'm trying to make timesheets by different components with people names...I might have 60 records on one person, so I tried to group the records and when I do, it drops some names from my list which I need on the list. How can I group them without loosing employees??? Using XI Crystal Reports. Thanks for any advice!!!

Hi,
It is not the grouping but the Join type that is probably causing the problem..Be sure to use a Left Outer Join to insure that all records from the left-most table are returned, even if no match exists in the right-hand one.

Should the Join be set to =, +, >=, >, <, != & Enforced From, To, Both????????

Hi,
Left Outer
=
Enforced From should work

( but read the help file for which is best in your situation I am never totally sure which to use)
