The other day I had two questions the first one was:
1) How to unable internet sharing on a win 2000 server win a domain name I've set it up with ICS when you guys rpelied me let me know about the RAS I'd try it but it semms not working at this point I even lost my intenret connection on the server.
2) second question was how to be able to see the company website since the domain name used in the LAN is the same as the company website I can see any website but the comany website.
Now let me be more Specific:
1)Issue The internet cable goes into that second NIC on the server which I did check the internet sharing Now I try to do the other process RAS not the ICS when I get the option about selecting the IP address I got two first one is that dynamic IP address from the cable company the second is the LAN IP address I had selected the first one which is the Internet IP address than the installation is finish Not only I'm not able to see the other computer on the network I don't have internet when I return to ICS set up everything works fine Please tell me what I'm doing wrong that's make it not working properly how to set up the internet to make it work properly and the clients also to be able to be on line?
2) Issue the company website I cannot see on the clients computer only on the server the clients cannot ping the company website please let me know what to do somebody told me before about a DNS allias how do you do that?
