I have Windows 2000 server running MS cluster on it. I want to install MS SQL2005 on the cluster. Is there any documentation available on how install SQL2005 on a cluster.
This is what I started with and was very helpful. Do as much research and reading as possible before taking this on. Also, does SQL 2005 run on Windows 2000?
SQL 2005 will run on Windows 2000. SP 4 for Windows is required.
If at all possible upgrade the servers to Windows 2003. Clustering in Windows 2003 is SO much nicer and easier that in Windows 2000. Also with a Windows 2003 OS you'll get the full benifit of the security features of SQL 2005. On Windows 2000 not all the security features are available.
