Help with Insert or Update

Hello,
I've posted a question on the general forum about a command not working, but maybe somebody here knows a better way of doing this :

If fields in one table = fields in another table then I want to update that record, but if the fields don't match then I want to Insert the record.
(typical Update or Insert Queries).
how would you do this in access from a click of a button ?

You would have to do this in two different queries. One to update the data in the table and another to add the extra records. Put VBA code in your On Click event to run both of these queries... Terry M. Hoey
