Hi,
I have a particular user on boxi r1 server1 and I want to migrate his favorites to boxi r1 server2. His ID already exists on server2 - I just want to move his favorites over. Every time I try and do this using the import wizard I get an error saying duplicate ID exists in the cms. I just want to update him!! I know this has worked in the past, so I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but I am FREAKING out. :)

Any help would be great.

Hi,
You cannot import an existing User ID ( updating is not an option, just renaming - and I am not sure that works with user IDs) - why not delete his account and then import it with his favorites included?

Well - I thought of that, but some of the users already have favorites on the server I am migrating to. So, if I delete their accounts I delete their new favs. I guess I am going to have to analyze which ones have docs, move them somewhere else, remove user ID, and then reimport. Good grief. Any other ideas?

Thanks!!

The idea of the wizard is to allow you to migrate, not synch disparate servers.

Since you allowed users to start using the other server PRIOR to migrating I think that you're going to be in a manual mode to resolve this.
