help with implementation of a button i think

Hi all.

I'm doing a family quiz for Xmas, one of the rounds is blockbusters (you know - "I'll have a P please Bob")

anyway, I can design the grid etc, but I just don't know the best way of creating the changeable letter tiles.

I thought each hexagon could be a button, the button then glows when I hover the mouse over it (I can do this already).

but then I need to make the hexagon either Blue or White depending on who got the question right.

so I guess the question is: How do I create a button with two possible outcomes? maybe a click for white and a double click for blue?
