Help with image

I have an image of a set of eyes which is about 7" by 2" I bring it into my flash using alpha.
Hers my problem I want to somehow have no box around it.Just have the eyes kinda showing up lightly in the background, but without showing any lines of the edge of the image. Alpha doesnt work
