I am on Crystal Reports 10 using Oracle 9i database.
I have a report with 3 group headers. I want to have a page break after a change in group header 2:

Group Header 1
Group Header 2
Group Header 3
Detail
Detail
Subtotal for group3
Detail
Detail
subtotal for group3
Subtotal for Group 2
(new page)
Group Header 2
....
subtotal for group3
subtotal for group2
Subtotal for Group 1

(new Page)
and repeat....

But what happens at the start of a NEW Group Header 1, I get and orphaned Group Header 1:

Group Header 1
(new page)
Group Header 1
Group Header 2
Group Header 3

and so forth.....

I have repeat headers on each page. I can't seem to get rid of the page break after
group header 1 when starting a new group header 1.

Any ideas?

In the X2 next to New Page After of GF2 place:

{table.group2field} <> next({table.group2field})

Not sure what having repeat group headers has to do with anything, how were you creating the new page???

And why would this occur:

Subtotal for Group 1

(new Page)

There hasn't been a Group 2 yet, so youre example ius off or your request for what you want.

Thank you synapsevampire...
My subtotals and other page breaks were working fine, it was just the orphan group header1 that was my problem. I added to much verbage to my question. Your solution worked great and all is fine. Thank you.
