We have Goldmine version 6.7 (the small business version) and are trying to set up Goldsync. However, we are running into difficulty in determining what exactly we still need to buy and install. I have gotten a lot of confusing information- especially from front range and several partners so I am hoping someboday can point me in the right direction.

What I think we need is a single license for Goldsync- I am the only user that is in and out of the office. We have Goldmine 6.7 with 5 user licenses.

Please help

You basically need to decide if you want to lay out the ~$200 for the GoldSync license or not. If you're the ONLY synchronizing user, you could manage the process yourself without the need for GoldSync. You would just come into the office with your laptop, set your DESKTOP (or server or some other stationary computer with a static internal IP (192.168.1.25 or something along those lines) and sync up. Then you can turn off the laptop and join the collective group working on the LAN-based GoldMine until such time as it's time to leave the office at which point you do your synch again and so on. With GoldSync, you wouldn't have to manage the part of making a lan machine listen for your incoming connection, it just always would.
