I'm trying to get an instance of INFORMIX up and running to see how easily we can port an app from MSSQL.

I downloaded everything from IBM's website. I installed INFORMIX and ISA. The server is running and I can log into ISA with the user informix.

Now the question is, how can I create tables, stored procedures, etc... I have googled and found nothing!!!

can anyone give me some quick pointers?

Thanks

Pat

Hi Pat,
I havn't worked with ISA before, but I guess there will be a SQl-Area where you can fire some SQL-Statements like create database or create table ......

There's a Server Studio JE (a Java application) offered by a company called AGS which makes creating database objects like tables, triggers, stored procedures, etc very easy. The very basic version is free with an option to buy advanced features. It's better than using DB-Access any day!! Try
Learning Informix-SQL is easy with lots of tutorials you can find using Google.
