Help with final steps please

Our new groupwise server is up, I'm ready to decomission the old server. Both servers are running gw 5.5, gwia, webaccess. All objects have been moved out of the old POA into the new POA. I think I am ready to power down this old box but wanted to make sure all I have to do after powering down is to just delete items in nds relating to the old server.

Also, a small problem with one of the users moved, he complains that his older email does not show up in his groupwise client, he sees the subject, but none of the text in many of the messages.

I want to be sure I've completed all the steps but I cannot find any good documentation on this.

Tom, the Message text is stored in a different directory than the header. It sounds like maybe you missed copying/moving one of the folders.

Message Headers are in the User Database Directory (OFUSER).

Text of messages is in Message Database Directory (OFMSG).

hmm, I used nwadmin to move user email accounts from one server to the other, should that not have taken care of the problem? How would I know which ofmesg file to move if this is an extra step?

Make sure u have set a primary mail server before u shutdown and all e-mail is going through the new Gateway

Wait, I moved all the mailboxes to the other server ok but I think I'm not finished yet. I noticed there are other objects in groupwise view related to the old server. I had the user button clicked on and only saw the users but when I click on the distributions, nicknames and library buttons, there are more objects in the old PO. These need to be moved but the option to move it is greyed out.
