Help with filters and rendering

I am having a problem while trying to add filters. The clip will play back fine in the monitor , but when I add a filter or change the speed and render it , it just plays the audio with a black screen. It also does this when exporting the timeline to a movie or to my camera. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have exactly the same problem .
When I use Premiere avi samples it works fine, but when I use my own avi (DV capture) I can't export the timeline .
I also saw that the first picture in clips thumbnail is black.
Please help us! Thx
