Hi all

I have the following printouts is this referring to the 6th GJUG5 card, or the 6th individual ie the 2nd indiv. on the second GJUG5 card......does that make sense???

cheers

SIDE 0 CONFIG: NOTHING CONNECTED OR NO CONTACT WITH GJU_G

Do not forget that the GSM links number from 0-0.

So 0-6 is in fact the 7th Group Switch Link.

Or the 3rd Individual on the 2nd GJUG.

First verify that you have not lost the physical connection between the G and L board -- if the LIM and GS are located in the same room, then you only have a cable to check, otherwise you'll need to check the whole transmission path.

If all appears to be OK physically, manually block all PCM links on that G board (GJBLI:GSMULT=x-x,GSSIDE=0;)and when all 4 are blocked, pull the board off the backplane, count to 5 and plug it back in.

Then restart and function test your problem link (GJRFI:GSMULT=0-6; GJFTI:GSMULT=0-6;). If the link restarts and function tests OK, unblock it and restart/test/unblock the other 3 links on the board.

Good luck,

Dave Strang
