I have a Windows 2003 FTP server that I made out of a 3Ghz P4 PC. I have attached a USB Maxtor One Touch 300GB Hard Drive to it, loaded the software, and connected it. The device manager is showing that the drive is working, but I can't seem to find it in My Computer where I normally do when I plug it into other machines. I have it set with NTFS and configured the drive, but in the My Computer folder, I only see the "C" drive.
Is there something I need to alter in the security settings to actually see this drive?
Thanks!

gjp2424,

It sounds like the problem may be with the USB ports.

Is USB enabled in your server's BIOS and does Device Manager show the USB ports?
