So, at Company ABC our exchange server hosts e-mail for 2 domains.

Domain 1.com
and
Domain 2.com

I have one user who does not have an @domain1.com address and only has an @domain2.com address.

Whenever she gets sent calendar requests internally (from other exchange users) items do not appear in her calendar. She only gets the e-mail , ie ‘you have been invited to meeting ****”.

Currently she is the only user in the exchange environment without a @domain1.com address, but has the local @domain1.local in her exchange profile.

Any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Are there two parts to this problem, or one? Do you want her to have an address it both domains, or does your design require that this user only have the address from one domain?

If you want her to have both domain addresses, have you tried manually adding the address for the other domain and seeing if it resolves the calendar request issue?

Thanks for your reply.
She is only supposed to have an address with Domain2. The company design requires such setup.

So she can't have any link with domain1? Not an additional SMTP address?

If you could examine the headers of an appointment (or contents of one saved as a text file) and see what the difference is between an appointment sent to another user and one sent to her, you may be able to identify what the mechanism being used to create calendar appointments is and then be able to put together some sort of solution for her.
