Help with Excel Chart Labels

Hi,

im looking to add a lable to each point on a chart, however rather than gicing the x,y coords. id like to give it a name, e.g A, B...C

is this possible...
my spreadsheet is set up with col A containing the identifier, col B containing the X coord, and col C containing the Y coord. At present im trying the use the XY scatter but i just cant get it to work.

Any help would be much appreciated!
