OK, here's the scenerio:
In July, we switched telcos because of pricing and the fact that we were installing Symposium Call Center, which is now up and running on our Option 11C.
Last month, I received a bill from our old telco for 12 DID trunks that I thought were removed when we went with two PRIs supplied by our new telco. When I spoke to the new telco people, they asked me to find out if there was any activity on these DID trunks. So... I disabled them in our switch, and I had people reporting incoming busy signals (which meant the trunks were obviously in use). I then re-enabled the 12 trunks and all was well.
What exactly should I do now? Is it possible to remove those trunks and have the new telco put them over our two existing PRIs (we have the capacity)? Or should I leave the trunks there and have the new telco buy them from the old telco? Or convert them to a third PRI? I'm soooo confused, and our new telco is just as confused as I am. I'm also a newbie in all this and need step-by-step help.
Thanks,
