HELP WITH DEC SCHEDULER

Can anyone please tell me where I can find the log file which records the output of all job executions via the DEC Scheduler?

I have used Scheduler for a number of years and am not aware of a single log file for the Scheduler itself (not to say that one does not exist though). The only logs that I know of are the ones for the individual jobs which you specify a directory location for. Hope that helps.

I am not very familiar with DEC Scheduler, however I know we have a reporting feature called vss_reports (sys$app:[nsched]vss_reports). I'm not sure if this was written for us or it comes with DEC Scheduler, but it does reporting for jobs. The only problem is that you cannot view the log file because it is constantly being updated.

you could switch debug on which will give you some info on how schedular is running and Produce a NSCHED$:nodename.LOG file for debugging
