I need a very big help to solve a problem with dBase linked table in an Access 2002 database. I have migrated my database from A97 to 2002, where there are several dbIII tables linked. In A97 i was able to update this tables normally, but with A 2002 the error message is "Search Key was not Found in any Record". I also have tried to install BDE 5.1, but it changes only the error message. I am very worried about this problem, because i have to upgrade my system to A 2002 as soon as possible. The system works with XP Professional SP1 and Offce XP SP2.I cannot updato to Jet SP 6.0 because it is older than the installed version of Office XP SP2.Someone can help me?
Many thanks in advance.

I had the same problem.
Tried to connect to dbf tables via ODBC-this rendered the tables read-only and huge problems with Memo fields.
Access XP has the same problem.
I had two solutions available:

1. Stick to Access 97 + linked FoxPro tables(which I did)
2. Import all Foxpro tables to Access 97, then convert the database to Access 2K or XP and use it as a back-end. I gave up this solution because there are guys on the network using FoxPro programs and there are some financial issues in the upgrade: Access license for each workstation.

If it helps, the Access 97 ISAM used to link FoxPro (dBase III) tables is msxbse35.dll

And I'll surely wait for a better solution, as I'm also interested. However, I called Microsoft support and they told me there is nothing I can do. Typical case of dumping a product (FoxPro).
