Hey guys,
I am having trouble exporting a bitmap that has been converted to splines curves to autocad (.dwg).
I have a .pdf timing diagram with lines that I added in Abode Illustrator. (I am a complete newb with AI) I want to export the .pdf with the newly added linesas a dwg but as spline curves.
Here is what I do:
I create a live trace by using the default settings. Then I scale the image size in order to create the splines. Finally I do a File, export in order to get the file into a .dwg format.
The problem is that the imange never becomes a spline in autocad (It is a bitmap still!). Also, the lines look to thick (I try to change the line thickness to 0.25 but fail to make a noticle change). What am i doing wrong? Can someone provide some step or advice.
thanks in advance,
omar
