OK, here's what I got:

I have 4 Linksys WAP11s (v2.6 or better) in different buildings. Signal strength is not an issue, as I've already had it checked. One building has the router. The other 3 buildings have PCs connected to each AP via a switch.

I'm confused which mode to use, though, to get all 4 APs to talk to each other, and allow computers in each building to access the Internet: AP/AP Client (the main xmitter is AP, the other 3 buildings AP clients), point-to-multipoint bridge, or repeater. The guides I've found so far are confusing, don't have the info I need, or are just filled with extraneous information. I just need a simple "do this."

I tried the AP/AP Client mode, and it worked...for one day. Point-to-multipoint seems to only work with SOME of the APs. Haven't tried repeater yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

well.. first off you need to probably look at something more enterprise level to REALLY accomplish want you are wanting instead of a consumer grade device... but you are wanting that will go in bridge mode.

@DallasBPF: That's what I was afraid of. Yes, bridging was one of the things I was trying. Point-to-multipoint is *working*, just erratically...and I can only get 3 out of 4 WAPs to connect. :-/

Maybe I can use this as ammunition to get better equipment.
